‘We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.’

EXPERIENCE

INDUSTRIAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

My Master’s Degree is in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which is the study of the human experience in the workplace. I can help you address work-related issues, including managing co-workers and supervisors, work-life balance, navigating challenges surrounding optimizing performance and personal growth, engagement, career development, conflict management and more.

PROFESSSIONAL COACHING

As a certified professional and life coach, I offer customized one-on-one sessions tailored towards each client’s unique needs. Coaching facilitates defining professional or life goals and formulating an action plan designed to promote success. My role as coach is to guide you through the process of bridging the gap between personal aspirations and actual results.

LAW AND CONSULTING

Practicing law for many years provided a unique opportunity to address the individual needs of each client, while gaining insight into a corporate environment. I bring my years of personal experience, perspective and insight to each consulting engagement, treating each situation with a fresh lens and curious awareness. I am also a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, an opt-in research community of business professionals.

SPECIAL AREA OF INTEREST

Imposter Syndrome was a special area of interest and research during my studies. It is a form of cognitive bias and self-doubt that leads to negative mental health repercussions. It is characterized by a fear of being discovered as an imposter who is faking intelligence or competency. Attributing success to external factors such as luck, rather than ability or proficiency are the hallmarks of these difficult to navigate emotions. These feelings can surface at all stages of a career and can be especially difficult for women, neurodivergent and marginalized individuals.

WRITING AND MEDIA

Writing continues to be my passion and my articles have been featured in Times of Israel, Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, Good Housekeeping, House Beautiful, Town & Country, Elle Decor, Country Living, Woman's Day, Redbook, Esquire, Yahoo News, Beyond Your Blog, YourTango, The Jewish Chronicle, Algemeiner, SheSavvy, Kveller, Parent Co, The Mighty, Grown and Flown, Mogul, Beliefnet, All4Women, the Journal of Educational Gerontology, Her View From Home, The Good Men Project and Scary Mommy.
